- We all know what the 3fff byte will do to the screen when we open the
- upper and lower border... While plyaing around with a new program using
- extended colour mode and opening the border, I found that the border
- suddenly got "striped". Even with the 3fff byte cleared. Hmmm. After some
- testing I found the "magic byte" had moved to 39ff...
- I remember I read sometime that the VIC-chip displsys the value in the
- highest address while opening the border... And in extended colour mode
- it thinks that this address is located at 39ff. Is this true, or is there
- another explanation to this??
